Dinosaurs

Dinosaurs are animals that dominated the terrestrial ecosystem for over 100-million years. Non-avian dinosaurs became extinct 65 million years ago (Mya) at the end of the Cretaceous period. Dinosaurs are known from both fossils and nonfossils including fossilized bones, feces, trackways, gastroliths, feathers, impressions of skin and internal organs, and "soft tissues, including blood vessels and cells lining them.

Continent

 

A continent is a large continuous land mass. The world was first divided into continents by the geographers of Hellenistic Alexandria. Taking Alexandria as a prime meridian, they divided the oikoumene or habitable earth into three parts: Asia was east of Alexandria, Europe was west of Alexandria and north of the Mediterranean Sea, and Libya, known by the Romans as Africa, was west of Alexandria and south of the Mediterranean.

Weather

 Weather comprises all the various phenomena that occur in the atmosphere of a planet. "Weather" is normally taken to mean the activity of these phenomena over a period of time of up to a few days. The average weather over a longer period is known as the climate. This aspect of the weather is studied with great interest by climatologists, for any signs of Climate change.
